Who we are
AKSA Capital("we") is the controller of the personal data collected on this page. Contact us about your data atinfo@aksacapital.pt.
What we collect
- What you enter in the registration form: name, email, phone number, country of residence, number of attendees, interests and, if you choose to give it, your investment budget.
- Your consent choices and the version of the wording you agreed to.
- How you reached this page: the advertising click identifier (for example
gclid) and campaign tags in the link you followed, the page you landed on and the site that referred you. - Technical data needed for security, such as your IP address, which our spam check processes when you submit the form.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To register you and run the event (confirmation, venue and timing updates, check-in, arranging a consultation you ask for). Basis: taking steps at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To send you news about citizenship, residency and property opportunities and future events, only if you ticked the optional box. Basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To measure which advertising brought registrations, by sending the click identifier back to Google Ads. Basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising (art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential storage keeps your cookie choice and the campaign details of your visit for this browser tab. Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are only set if you allow them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Who receives it
- Cloudflare, which hosts this page and runs the spam check (Turnstile).
- The provider that hosts our customer relationship management system, where registrations are stored.
- Google, for advertising measurement as described above and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies.
- Our advisors and event staff, who need your details to run the event.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
The event takes place in the United Arab Emirates and some of our service providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA we rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Registration data: up to 24 months after the event, then deleted or anonymised, unless you become a client.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it or for 24 months without contact from you, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to info@aksacapital.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt), or to the supervisory authority where you live. Residents of the UAE have equivalent rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
